Gulf Airways is an airline of Bahrain. It has its Headquarter in Muharraq. It provides service for travelling around 42 terminus of 23 countries including Europe, Asia and Africa. In earlier 1940’s Freddie Bosworth, a British pilot starts an air taxi service Doha and Dhahran from Bahrain, and then Freddie extends his services and registered as a private shareholder named Gulf Aviation Company in 24 May 1950.
Later in 1973 Emirate’s government, the Qatar state, the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the Oman’s Sultanate purchased Associate Company holding in Gulf Aviation and then this company was became the four state airline in 1974.
